DefSoc is a group of students interested in public defense and committed to building more community and support for public defense at YLS. Our programming centers on providing a community space and hosting small conversations with practitioners. We also build databases to help students learn about and apply to PDs on their own, including through faculty connections. Prof. Forman is our faculty advisor, and we have a number of faculty and staff affiliates.
