Yale Law School's Middle Eastern and North African Law Students' Association

Message from the 2024-2025 MENALSA Board

MENALSA is thrilled to welcome new 1Ls, transfer students, LLMs, and returning students to YLS.

MENALSA is an organization that represents law students of Middle Eastern and North African descent. We come from diverse backgrounds, representing various ancestries, religions, ethnicities, and identities.

We are excited to share that this year's MENALSA membership is one the largest and most diverse yet. Our members hail from over thirteen different states and have ties to at least eleven different Middle Eastern and North African countries.

Our members have held leadership positions in all corners of the law school, including First Generation Professionals, the Yale Law Muslim Student Association, Outlaws, the Disabled Law Students Association, Yale Law & Business Society, and more. Our community members come from enriching professional backgrounds as well, working at financial services institutions, technology companies, the non-profit sector, NGOs, and consulting firms.

As the MENALSA Board for the 2024-2025 school year, we are all honored to serve such a vibrant and inspiring community at YLS. We look forward to an active and rewarding school year, and we can't wait for you to join us!
