The Yale Animal Law Society, a Student Chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, works to reduce animal suffering by providing resources on animal law and reaching out to the law school community. We welcome all who are interested in developing legal strategies to protect animals.
The Yale Animal Law Society welcomes you to the start of an exciting time at YLS for animal law. The Law School has recently received a generous donation to support courses and events in the animal law space over the next couple of years. In addition to an Animal Law course offered this fall, there will be an animal law speakers series. YALS is the perfect space for students who are hoping to play a role in shaping dialogue during this critical period or those who are simply curious about animal law and its connections to sustainability, the environment, and human rights.
