Marc Brackett, Ph.D., is the founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and a professor at Yale’s Child Study Center. A leading expert in emotional intelligence, he is the author of the bestselling Permission to Feel and his latest book, Dealing with Feeling. Marc is the developer of RULER, an evidence-based framework used in more than 5,000 schools worldwide, and his work has been featured in outlets like The New York Times, TIME, and Good Morning America. Through his work, he helps individuals and organizations build stronger, more connected, and emotionally intelligent communities—something that deeply aligns with #WWN’s mission.
