Details
Fair Haven Day begins with the Fair Haven Community Parade organized by JUNTA for Progressive Action and supported by the Mary Wade Home, followed by a full day of activities in partnership with the Arts & Ideas Fair Haven Neighborhood Festival.

Walk
Fair Haven School at 164 Grand Avenue is easily accessible by foot from anywhere in Fair Haven, Fair Haven Heights, East Rock, and Downtown – and from any other New Haven neighborhood in 90 minutes or less.
Bike
Bike to Fair Haven Day from anywhere in New Haven in 30 minutes or less. Plenty of bike parking is available on site.
Drive + Park
While we recommend walking, biking, or taking the bus, there is parking available for Fair Haven Day throughout the neighborhood. Most parking lots are at least several blocks away, so be prepared for a short walk on your way to Fair Haven Day. We will be happy to facilitate on-site dropoff for persons with limited mobility.
