Come get excited for The House's 55th Anniversary Celebration by taking a look at a part of The House's history through the eyes of Black Yale's class of 1997, depicted in the through documentary Black Table, and stay after for an opportunity to talk with some of the Black Yalies featured in the documentary. Black Table, a documentary that premiered at the Tribeca Festival in 2024, is based on the experiences of Black Yalies in the class of 1997 and how they built community around a table in Commons. After the screening, we’ll have Q&A with a few of the alumni featured, including the writer and co-director, Bill Mack ’95.

Food and drinks will be provided.

This event is co-sponsored by Film & Media Studies and co-hosted by BSAY.
