The experience of race-based stress and trauma has a huge negative impact on health and well-being, yet it is seldom addressed within health care settings. To learn more about race-based stress and trauma as well as how to effectively cope, join Dr. Gail Parker - psychologist, certified yoga therapist, and lifelong practitioner of yoga - as she discusses her new book, "Restorative Yoga for Ethnic and Race-Based Stress and Trauma." In this live virtual session, Dr. Parker will define race-based stress and trauma, explain how it impacts all of us regardless of race or ethnicity, and illustrate how Restorative Yoga is an effective self-care tool for alleviating distress and supporting recovery. All are welcome!
