ERM Sustainability Institute Info Session (10/13)

CPD is pleased to invite ERM Sustainability Institute to conduct a virtual information session for YSE students, scheduled for October 13th from 12pm to 1pm ET.

The session aims to:
1. Introduce graduate students to ERM, the breadth of their work, and the types of career paths available across the organization.
2. Share where students can learn more about ERM careers, including employment and summer internship opportunities where applicable.

The outline of the session will be as follows:
1. Welcome and introductions: Brief welcome, session objectives, and overview of what students can expect.
2. About ERM: High-level overview of ERM, including the work we do, our services and locations, examples of client needs, and the range of work from “boots to boardroom.”
3. About ERM Sustainability Institute: Overview of the Institute and the role of thought leadership, with examples such as Trends, Regulations Radar, Rate the Raters, and other blogs and reports. 4. Employee panel: varied paths and perspectives: A small panel of employees from different professional and educational backgrounds who work across a range of topics and project types. Each panelist will briefly share their career path, current area of work, and perspective on working at ERM.
5. Careers and opportunities: Overview of where students can explore ERM roles, early-career opportunities, and summer internships, as available.
6. Student Q&A and closing: Open discussion on career paths, skills, current trends, and questions about ERM, followed by key resources and next steps.
