Mission
Club Geo builds community among undergraduate students interested in the geosciences, including geology, energy studies, atmospheric studies, paleontology, solid earth, and climate change. Club Geo is affiliated with the Earth & Planetary Sciences department and its primary activities are weekend outings to various sites of geologic interest, mentorship and collaboration with the Dana Club (EPS's graduate student organization), and fortnightly study sessions. This semester, Club Geo plans to provide its members with various opportunities for academic and personal enrichment: geology field trips to West Rock and Horse Island, and a tour of the Peabody Museum's mineral collection.
