Thank you to everyone who attended the 2023 Election Voter Protection Training earlier today! If you couldn't make it, but still want to volunteer for the Voter Protection Hotline, you can sign up here: http://bit.ly/3ZOm6Jd. However, please only sign up if you can commit to at least 2 shifts before election day on November 7th, as it takes time and effort for the DNC to vet you. If you have any questions about the hotline, don't hesitate to reach out to Ben Friedman (ben.friedman@yale.edu) or Victoria Maras (victoria.maras@yale.edu). Be on the lookout for a communal hotline shift event sometime soon!
Additionally, the DNC asked us to relay the following information:
1) Once vetting is complete you should receive an onboarding packet from Nick Klimek that will include the following documents for review and signature. Please review and sign this packet as soon as possible. (Please check your spam folder if you do not see this packet within a week and email me.)
DNC Volunteer Agreement
DNC Volunteer NDA
2) After you sign and return the packet, within 1-2 days, you should receive an email from Allyson Legnini with information from our Security team.
3) When you successfully complete the security procedures, you are officially onboarded! You will then receive an email from Canvas with our training videos and will be invited to our Slack channel, LBJ, and Webex phone system.
Best,
The YLDems Board
Sage, Areeb, Ben, Rossella, and Victoria
