How to Start Writing Early

Welcome to Yale! New courses, mentors, and research projects are on your horizon. Join your new cohort and the Graduate Writing Lab Directors in this workshop to learn how to develop effective writing strategies from the beginning of your graduate education. We will cover effective time management, crafting a personalized writing process tailored to your needs, and creating an approachable research notebook to kickstart your research journey. We will also introduce the GWL’s suite of programs so you can start your graduate career with resources and support.
