Internships at the New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) Research Institute

Every year, the New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) Research Institute hosts a ten-week unique, summer enrichment internship program that provides students a rare glimpse into the fast-paced world of stem cell research, insight into life at an entrepreneurial nonprofit research institute, exposure to career opportunities in science, and connections to valuable professional and peer networks.  Open to undergraduate and graduate students. Applications close January 14, 2022 and at least one reference letter is required.

Postdoc recruitment event at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK)

On February 1 & 2, 2022, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) will e-host MSKView: A diversity recruitment event for MSK scientific laboratories. Selected attendees will have an opportunity to:
  • learn about the cutting-edge science being conducted at MSK
  • present their research and connect with peers
  • meet MSK faculty in one-on-one meetings and roundtables
  • hear from current postdocs about how they decided to conduct their postdoctoral training at MSK
  • receive insights on how to chart their course and navigate career development beyond graduate school and postgraduate training
The following students are eligible:
  • PhD and MD/PhD students who are within 2 years from defending their thesis
  • PhD, MD and MD/PhD researchers interested in a second postdoc position
All biologists, chemists, physicists, and computational scientists who fit the above criteria and are interested in pursuing careers in biomedical research are encouraged to apply. Students from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Underrepresented groups include, but are not limited to: African Americans, Hispanics/Latinxs, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, those with disabilities, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds.The application deadline is January 5, 2022.
