Academia Abroad Career Chat: National University of Singapore
Monday, September 29, 9:00-10:00am EDT
PhDs from across the arts and sciences are increasingly drawn to exploring research and teaching opportunities outside of the US. If you’re interested in broadening your scope, learn from alumni who have built satisfying academic careers around the world.
This session features Nozomi Naoi, PhD ’14 History of Art & Architecture, Harvard University, Associate Professor of Japanese Studies, National University of Singapore. Professor Naoi taught for many years at Yale-NUS College and recently joined the faculty of NUS.
The Academic Job Search Series is a monthly event series that prepares GSAS students and postdocs across all five academic divisions for the academic job market. Each session focuses on a critical aspect of the faculty job search, offering practical strategies, expert guidance, and insights to help students navigate the process and build successful academic careers. This event is co-hosted by Harvard’s Mignone Center for Career Success and Yale’s Office of Career Strategy.
