Career Strategy (Session 3): Where Will Your PhD Take You? Strategies for Career Exploration

Career exploration takes many different trajectories. It starts with your own skills and experiences and follows a path that is unique to you. This session will focus on how to explore a dual career search, looking inside and outside of the academy, based on your skills and values. We will start with a self-assessment that looks forward to the possible career paths open to you. We will then explore how to “choose your own adventure” when investigating the jobs you find most interesting and the connections that will get you there. We’ll share strategies and resources along the way to make this process productive for you.
