The WFF was established in 2001 by senior women faculty during Yale’s Tercentennial year to highlight the presence of women at the University and the accomplishments of Yale alumnae. Since its inception, and with the support of the President and Provost of Yale, the WFF has evolved into an organization of women faculty who work together to:

*Foster gender equity throughout the University through policy initiatives and research
*Promote scholarship by women and on women and gender across all schools of the University
*Create mentoring and networking opportunities

Mission
The mission of the Working Women's Network is to provide programs and resources to Yale University's women employees, and champion the exploration and pursuit of personal and professional goals in order to enhance their individual success while also furthering the advancement of the university.

Advocacy: Serves as a unified voice for women issues, with a focus on topics related to educational advancement, work life balance, family enrichment, University benefit.
Communications: Oversees and coordinates communications to the Yale Community, using an array of communication vehicles; e-newsletter, e-blasts, flyers, posters, and all forms of social media.
Career Development: Coordinates the yearly programs and events related to professional career development and networking events.

The Yale Latino Networking Group (YLNG) seeks to promote a community of interest among Latino staff members, and to promote an inclusive and empowering work environment for all Yale employees.
