Sarah Kang is a Korean-American jazz/pop/R&B singer-songwriter based in New York City. Although she studied the french horn for many years, she rediscovered her love of singing during her undergraduate years at Yale when she joined the a cappella group Living Water. She wrote her first song during her senior year, and she continued to write after moving to NYC to attend Teachers College, Columbia University, where she earned a masters in music education. In 2015, she self-recorded and self-produced her debut EP entitled "Fair Weather", a folk-inspired acoustic collection of songs and stories. She followed that release with her EP "One" in 2019 and another EP titled "maybe i'm better now" in 2021. Her single "Summer Is for Falling in Love" has over 12 million streams on Spotify and has been featured in Korean ads and dramas. Sarah released her first full length album "how i remember" last October. Her fans describe her songs as warm and cozy, and her hope is that her music creates a safe space for listeners to stop to ponder the important questions in life.
