The Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on April 10th, 1909 on Yale University's campus and serves Yale, University of New Haven, Southern Connecticut State University, and Quinnipiac University. For 111 years the Zeta Chapter has remained at the forefront of service and advocacy within the New Haven community. One such way that we accomplish this is through our national program, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, which focuses on voter education and registration, as well as political awareness and empowerment.
