The Office of International Students and Scholars is organizing this town hall webinar to discuss issues and concerns around international travel in light of enhanced scrutiny and added questioning at visa interviews and at the U.S. ports of entry. The issues of electronic device searches at the U.S. border and questions around limiting digital footprint and practicing digital hygiene will also be covered. Joining the panel are Attorney Aaron Blumberg (Partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP), Susan Bouregy (Yale’s Chief Privacy Officer), and John Coleman (Yale’s Associate CIO and Deputy CISO [Chief Information Security Officer]).
Although we will have live Q&A during the webinar where OIS advisers will answer questions, we highly recommended that you pre-submit your questions as you register for this session. We will consolidate all submissions and try to address as many questions and concerns as possible.
This session will take place on Zoom, and registered participants will receive a confirmation email. While this session will be hosted on the Zoom platform, it will be a webinar and not a Zoom call. Participants will not be visible to other participants, and the session will not be recorded.
