About this event

OISS is excited to collaborate with the Office of Global Services (OGS) at New York University (NYU) to invite you for a day trip into NYC and exploration of NYU and mid-town Manhattan on Sunday, April 7th!

We will meet at New Haven Union Station at 9:00am, and we will take the Metro North train to Grand Central, where we will arrive around 11:25am. We will then directly head to New York University as a group by taking the subway.

We will arrive at NYU around 12:00pm and have a delicious lunch at the OGS building with current NYU international students and share experiences! Then we will have a tour around NYU's campus, including the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library, Kimmel Center, as well as the "back garden" - Washington Square Park.

Around 2:30pm, you are invited to join us for a fun “scavenger hunt” led by three NYU students that will take you through Union Square, the Flat Iron district, and end around the Empire State Building. And yes, there will be prizes for the winning group! After the scavenger hunt ends, you will have a few hours of free time to explore the city on your own and grab some dinner before returning back to New Haven.

At 2:30pm you also have the option to go off on your own to enjoy the city before meeting us back at Grand Central that evening.

At 6:00pm, we will meet at Grand Central Station and head back to New Haven as a group.

Tickets are $25 + Eventbrite fees, which includes your roundtrip train ticket and a lunch at NYU. You are responsible for all other costs throughout the day.

Please note: No refunds will be issued once tickets are purchased. This is an 18+ event open to adults only.
