Sew & Sustain Part 2: Sewing Pattern Basics

We are excited to announce a follow-up program to our first Sew & Sustain event we held earlier this semester - but this time we are getting a little more advanced and talking about creating sewing patterns with our own OISS Adviser, Abby Harris!

Are you interested in learning how to sew your own clothes? Join OISS’s “Sewing Pattern Basics” program to learn the foundational pattern skills to start your sewing  journey! We will discuss different types of patterns, how to draft your own, and how to use them. Supplies will be provided to begin drafting your own pattern during the program.

Open to the Yale Community and you must register to attend.
