Hot Toddy Happy Hour for New Scholars

NOTE: Registration is now only open for the Zoom portion of the event. We have reached capacity for our happy hour kits. But please still register to join us for the virtual happy hour!

Join OISS for a virtual happy hour for new scholars that have arrived over the past few months! While this event has to be held over Zoom due to covid-19 restrictions, we will provide you with all of the supplies and instructions you need to make a Hot Toddy, a favorite winter cocktail, to enjoy with the group during the Happy Hour.

What will be provided in your happy hour kit:

• Instructions to make a Hot Toddy
• Ingredients for the drink:
  • Tea
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Lemon
  • Whiskey (optional)
• Snacks
  • Apple
  • Homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookie

In order to participate, you must be able to pick-up your happy hour kit from OISS on February 2^nd between 2-5pm or on February 3^rd between 12-2pm.

During the virtual happy hour, we will enjoy our drinks together and you’ll have the opportunity to get to know one another in several small breakout rooms over the course of an hour.

You must be 21 years or older and a newly arrived scholar in order to register, and you must register to attend.

The event is limited to 30 people, as that is how many Happy Hour kits we have available. However, if you're still interested in attending without receiving the kit, you can register for the waiting list and we will be in touch with the Zoom link.
