Welcome to our Nowruz celebration, marking the Persian New Year with traditional dance, live music, and delicious regional cuisine! Nowruz, meaning "New Day", is a joyous festival welcoming spring, renewal, and togetherness. It's been celebrated for centuries by many cultures across the Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucasus, South Asia, and the Balkans. Our festival will feature live performances by Iranian and Kyrgyz artists. Does your culture also celebrate Nowruz? You will have a chance to represent it at our open mic!

Come experience the rich and unique traditions of Nowruz in this festive gathering—everyone is welcome!

Delicious catered lunch will be provided!

This event is co-hosted with Persian Students Association and Asian Crossroads at Yale. It is possible thanks to generous funding of our co-sponsors: Central Asian Initiative in the McMillan Center, Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) Cultural Community, and Asian American Cultural Center (AACC).
