We are excited to invite international students and scholars for an evening at the Yale Repertory Theater to see Escaped Alone.
We will host a light dinner at OISS before the show at 6:15pm where we will hear a short presentation from Lia Tubiana, the set-designer for Escaped Alone. Lia is a French-Tunisian scenic designer and architect, currently in her final semester pursuing an M.F.A. at David Geffen School of Drama, where her credits include Julius Caesar and littleboy/littleman. She is also the associate set designer for Les Paravents opening in June at the Théatre de L’Odéon in Paris.
Around 7:30pm we will walk from OISS to the Yale Repertory Theater for the show which will begin at 8pm. We hope you can join us for a night at the theater!
Synopsis of Escaped Alone:Three old friends and a neighbor. A verdant backyard on a summer afternoon. Tea and catastrophe. Caryl Churchill’s convention-defying play, Escaped Alone, sets in comic and devastating counterpoint the consolations of a good chat and the looming weight of disasters both intimate and global.

2. This event is only open to the Yale international community. You must be 18+ to attend (no children).
3. Your ticket price includes your ticket to the show and the talk and light dinner at OISS before the show. Please note that you must exchange your Eventbrite tickets for physical tickets at OISS the evening of the show.
4. Tickets are non-refundable.
This program has been co-organized with Eugenio Saenz Flores, a 4th year international student currently studying at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and an OISS all-star!
