Did you know that Yale has it's own botanical gardens? Marsh Botanical Gardens is a hidden gem located on Mansfield Street that offers support for researchers, faculty, and students at Yale – and it's beautiful!

Join us for a 45-minute guided tour with Kunso Kim, their Associate Director, where we will tour the greenhouses and explore the diversity of tropical plants including the Economic Botany section, Carnivorous Plants, and Desert House. We will discuss morphology, adaption strategies, and how these plants are used in different cultures.

This is a great way to spend a lunch hour and explore a new part of campus! Note: the tour will begin at 12:30pm, but if you'd like to walk to the gardens with the group, we will be meeting at OISS around 12pm to get there in time for the tour.

Space is limited for this event due to in-person, indoor COVID event guidelines, and masks will be required for all guests. You must register to attend. If registration reaches capacity, please register for the waitlist in case we have last minute cancellations.
