How to Talk to Employers about H-1B Sponsorship

Join us for a Zoom discussion of the H-1B visa and how to approach immigration issues during the job search process. Office of Career Strategy Fellows and OISS Associate Director Parker Emerson will give a brief presentation, and then open the chat to questions about the interview process and immigration issues.

We will discuss details of how the H-1B visa works, who can pay fees, what the "cap-subject" schedule is among other topics. The OCS Fellows will be able to address career resources open to the entire Yale community. The objective is to help students to be better prepared to discuss visa issues with prospective employers.

Registration is required. This session will be recorded and sent to all who register for the event.
