The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) and the Yale Postdoctoral Association (YPA) invite you to join us for a day trip to the Mystic Seaport Museum on Saturday, November 5th! Join us to visit the museum and transport yourself back in time and immerse yourself in their recreated 19th-century seafaring village, watch craftsman at work in their working shipyard, and explore their world class exhibitions. All of this while meeting and spending time with your fellow internationals.
We will meet in front of OISS (421 Temple Street) at 9am. A bus will bring us to Mystic and drop us at the Mystic Seaport Museum (the ride is a little over 1 hour). You will be able to visit the museum at your own pace and then we will also have some extra time to go in town and grab some lunch on your own. We will meet back at the Mystic Seaport Museum at 2:30pm to travel back to OISS and arrive by 3:30-3:45pm.
Tickets are $25 per person. The ticket price includes the bus ride and your entrance to the Mystic Seaport Museum.
Note: Tickets are limited, and registration is required. No refunds will be issued once tickets are purchased. This is an 18+ event open to adults only.
