Join us for lunch, great discussion, and a book raffle with an incredible author and speaker, Dr. Rajika Bhandari!

International students and scholars today are armed with information about their future programs of study and research, yet they continue to face significant challenges and gaps when it comes to adapting academically, socially, and culturally to the U.S. and ultimately in succeeding.

Drawing upon her expertise as a scholar and author of international student issues and trends and her own personal journey as a former international student, Dr. Rajika Bhandari will discuss key barriers that many international students and scholars face yet are either unaware of or are reluctant to share, while also providing a roadmap for the mindset and strategies needed to succeed. In doing so, she will also draw upon her recent and award-winning book, America Calling: A Foreign Student in a Country of Possibility.

If you join us in-person, we will have a light lunch, followed by desserts and conversation. You can also register to join us via Zoom.

This program and being generously co-sponsored by the McDougal Center for Graduate Student Life.
