The Art of Togetherness: Journaling and Zine-Making

Join the international community for an evening of reflection and support. We’ll start our workshop with a calming mindfulness exercise to center ourselves in the moment. You’ll receive prompts and materials for journaling and writing compassionate letters to your younger selves. In small groups, you’ll have the opportunity to share your personal insights and reflections.

Afterward, we will guide you through a collaborative zine-making activity, creating colorful pages filled with supportive messages and drawings for one another. Zines are pocket-size DIY magazines that combine words and imagery. Making a zine is a creative way to show appreciation and support to your fellow community members.

Enjoy pizza and drinks while you relax and connect with new friends. We look forward to seeing you there! This event is open to all international students, scholars, and their families.
