Navigating the Future: Immigration Options for Researchers After Yale Sponsorship Ends
Registration
Details
OISS is pleased to host an immigration information session with Attorney Suzanne Seltzer. Yale has worked with Attorney Seltzer for over a decade on immigration cases involving international student visas, employment-based visas and green cards.
Attorney Seltzer has been an active member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and NAFSA, Association of International Educators, and she is the five-time recipient of AILA's Presidential Commendation in recognition of her service to the association.
She will present immigration options for Yale international non-tenure-track faculty employees after your visa sponsorship with Yale has ended. She will take an in-depth look into self-petitions for permanent residency in the EB-1A and EB-2 National Interest Waiver categories, and touch upon other issues relevant to researchers, such as J-1 waivers, O-1, etc. Please note that this session provides a general understanding of employment-based immigration options to explore to continue your academic career in the U.S., not about Yale sponsorship.
This event will be held over Zoom.
Registered participants will receive a recording the presentation after the event.
