Know Your Rights: Town Hall Webinar with OISS & Partners
Tuesday, April 1st, 2025
6pm – 7:30pm
The Office of International Students and Scholars is organizing this town hall webinar in light of recent updates and changes in the U.S. immigration landscape, so that you are informed about your rights as international students and scholars. Joining the panel are Attorney Dan Berger (Partner at Green & Spiegel) and Kerry Doyle (former Principal Legal Advisor of ICE, Deputy General Counsel for DHS).
This session will cover immigration topics concerning our community, such as your rights as an international student or scholar at Yale, appropriate response to requests from law enforcement, and advice on domestic and international travel.
You are highly recommended to include any questions you have as you register for this session. We will consolidate all responses and try to address as many questions and concerns as possible.
This session will take place on Zoom, and registered participants will receive a confirmation email with the link to the webinar by noon, Tuesday, April 1st. While this session will be hosted on the Zoom platform, it will be a webinar and not a Zoom call. Participants will not be visible to other participants, and the session will not be recorded.
