OISS is excited to collaborate with the Native American Cultural Center and the Association of Native Americans at Yale for our third Understanding America event of the fall semester.

During the fall season, events such as Halloween and Thanksgiving often serve to erase Native American histories, cultures, and contemporary lives. For this event, Dean Matthew Makomenaw, Director of the Native American Cultural Center, and Meghanlata Gupta, President of the Association of Native Americans at Yale, will discuss how Native American and other Indigenous peoples are thriving and advocating for their communities on campus at Yale and beyond.
