In this training, the New Haven Health Department will provide vital information on current and local overdose issues, provide training on how to respond to a suspected opioid-related overdose, and how to administer Naloxone to aid in the reversal of an opioid-related overdose. A limited number of free kits are available to attendees. Please register if you plan to attend as certificates of training will be issued. Instructions for those seeking CHES credits will be shared after the event.

This training can help you save a life in the community, during your internship or volunteer experiences, and/or someone you know. Event sponsored by the Office of Public Health Practice, New Haven Health Department, and the Yale Addiction Medicine Collaborative. Training will be held in-person 60 College St. Winslow Auditorium. Light refreshments offered after in the lobby area, no food is allowed inside the auditorium.
