For the YSE Community: Make your own Wildflower Seed Balls

Open to members of the Yale Schoool of the Environment Community.

Get your hands dirty and make seed balls using Connecticut native wildflowers in the Forest Garden between Sage and Kroon.

Revitalizing Afternoon Yoga

Join Isaac Mukwaya for an afternoon yoga practice to reinvigorate and refresh the mind and body after a day of work. Isaac started his teaching in Nairobi, Kenya with the Africa Yoga Project and continued training in the Sivananda Institute in India and the U.S. He teaches a calm and steady sequence of poses, usually incorporating meditation. All students, faculty and staff are welcome for this session to honor Wellness Month with OneYSE. Dinner will be available after class.

Melt your stress away by visiting Brue Bunderfuffle who will be visiting YSE on April 11. Brue belongs to Dani Heller, Director of Faculty Affairs, and she is glad to share her for the afternoon.

Yale School of the Environment Community members are invited to take a break and come give Brue a pet in the Dean's Suite, Room 231 in Kroon Hall (behind the staircase)!

Eclipse Viewing for YSE

Members of the Yale School of the Environment Community are invited to view the solar eclipse together. Proper eyewear will be provided-first come first served.

The solar eclipse will begin around 2:15 PM. While it will not be a full eclipse here in New Haven, the mid-eclipse will occur at approximately 3:27 PM (15:27).

New Haven Museum Guided Tours

Members of YSE are invited to attend docent-guided tours of the New Haven Museum. There will be waves of visits starting at 12PM ending at 2:30PM with a docent but you are free to visit at any time in the afternoon.

Free and Open to the Public with registration. A conversation with author and naturalist, Christian Cooper who will discuss birding, the natural world and his new memoir, Better Living Through Birding—Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World.
