Details

Join us for a Fall 2026 workshop series on the theory and practice of leadership. This nine-part series will alternate between expert speakers and opportunities to reflect on and apply what we learn. Topics include inclusive leadership, communication strategies, project management, and leading from below Whether you plan to pursue a job inside or outside of the academy, these sessions will provide a framework for developing your profile as a leader. This is a joint initiative of the Yale Postdoc Office and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Audience: Postdocs and PhD candidates. Light refreshments will be served at each session.

To complete the program and receive a certificate, participants must attend all 5 learning community sessions and at least 2 of the expert speaker sessions. If you are interested in this program but cannot attend the required 5 learning community sessions and 2 speaker sessions, please know that all speaker sessions will be open to postdocs and graduate students outside of the program and we encourage you to attend - Yale Connect registrations for each speaker session will be released throughout the fall.
