Join the Leadership and Management (L-MAP) program for postdocs at Yale to build your leadership, management, and inclusive teamwork toolkit! This 6-week long program meets on Zoom to provide active-learning training in these important skills. Full-group sessions will be led by Molly Grisham who is an expert in leadership and organizational dynamics. Participants will receive a workbook that includes all program materials and guides trainees through self-reflective exercises in addition to the in-session content. The unit topics include: professionalism and professional identity, leading without authority, negotiation, working in teams, inclusive organizational structure, and writing your leadership statement. Selected participants must commit to attending all training sessions.
The schedule for the program is articulated below and please note: participants will also meet in small groups each week for an additional hour (to be scheduled).
• Thursday, March 27 from 4-5pm ET on Zoom
• Thursday, April 3 from 4-5pm ET on Zoom
• Thursday, April 10 from 4-5pm ET on Zoom
• Thursday, April 17 from 4-5pm ET on Zoom
• Thursday, April 24 from 4-5pm ET on Zoom
• Thursday, May 1 from 4-5pm ET on Zoom (NOTE: this final session may be up to two hours long)
• Each week will also entail a to-be-scheduled one hour in small groups
Zoom link will be sent to registrants in a confirmation email closer to the program start.
