In this session for graduate students and postdocs, we will discuss where to find academic job advertisements, ways to think about and understand the context of a faculty role and what it entails, and considerations as you examine an academic job advertisement to frame your application materials. This session kicks off the Academic Job Search Series for the 2023-2024 academic year and is an introduction to the initial steps and considerations of the academic job search. The job search series continues with multiple workshops throughout the year which can be found here. PLEASE NOTE: if you are having any issues registering, please reach out to Victoria Hallinan (victoria.hallinan@yale.edu) -- thank you!
