AI in Canvas @ Yale: Tools, Features, and What’s Ahead

Join us for a focused online session exploring how Yale’s Canvas environment is integrating AI to support teaching and learning. We’ll walk through the current AI tools available in Canvas, share practical demonstrations, and highlight ways instructors can use these features to enhance course design, feedback, and student engagement.

During the session, we will also outline the roadmap for upcoming AI capabilities in Canvas and discuss what these developments may mean for instructors, students, and course teams. The final 10 minutes will be reserved for questions and conversation.

Whether you are already experimenting with AI in Canvas or are just beginning to consider its possibilities, this session will offer clear examples, guidance, and space to learn alongside colleagues across campus.
