Details

The STEM and Quantitative Social Sciences Learning Community brings together faculty from the STEM and quantitiative fields together to share challenges and ideas around teaching. The exact topics that will be discussed will depend on the interests of the group, making each semester a unique learning opportunity for participants. Convening on Fridays, 12-1pm (Sept. 18, Oct. 2, Oct. 16, Oct. 30, Nov. 13, Dec. 4), we meet in person for the first and last meeting (with hybrid options if needed) and meet on Zoom for the other meetings. For those participating in the Faculty Teaching Academy for new faculty, attending 5 out of 6 sessions fulfills the learning community component.

To register for a Fall 2026 learning community, please register by Sept. 8, 2026. We welcome any questions or suggestions: faculty.teaching@yale.edu.
