Discover how to foster meaningful student collaboration in Canvas through the effective use of Groups. This hands-on session is designed for instructors, instructional support staff, and academic leaders who want to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences.

Participants will:

  • Learn how to set up and manage Canvas Groups for assignments, discussions, and projects
  • Explore strategies for promoting peer interaction and teamwork
  • Review tips for troubleshooting common group-related challenges

Canvas Groups are a powerful way to encourage collaboration, build community, and support active learning. This session will equip educators with the tools and confidence to design group activities that are intuitive, inclusive, and pedagogically sound.
