This workshop offers an introduction to teaching Quantitative Reasoning (QR) courses, which require teaching logic and analytical skills to students through the lens of course content. Participants in this workshop will consider how to use instructional scaffolding and the Socratic method to guide students through challenging content. We will also explore tools for thinking about feedback and assessment in QR courses, and engage with the scholarship of teaching and learning to reflect on our classroom spaces. This workshop will be held in person.
