How can we promote thoughtful and productive discussions in the classroom? In this workshop, we will practice how to connect tangible learning goals to scaffolded discussion questions using Bloom’s Taxonomy. We will also identify strategies and techniques that encourage equitable student engagement across disciplinary settings. You will gain a concrete toolkit for starting and shaping a classroom conversation, as well as for navigating common challenges. For more information, please contact Ziming Liu (ziming.liu@yale.edu) and Gina Marie Hurley (gina.hurley@yale.edu).
