Fundamentals of Teaching: Music

Four Part Workshop Series: These workshops introduces core pedagogical principles and explores how to apply these to teaching courses in music. Geared toward first-time instructors and veterans alike, we will cover a wide range of topics, including developing concrete lesson plans, facilitating an inclusive and productive class discussion, and utilizing effective means of assessment. In addition, this workshop will provide a space for participants to discuss their own teaching and craft language around pedagogy, which will ultimately be useful for the job-market and beyond.
