Are you heading off to a summer associate job, internship, or clerkship? If so, the GWL Writing in Practice series is for you! In these interactive workshops, we will review the key writing components of legal memos and appellate briefs. We’ll discuss the purpose of each genre, discuss writing goals and strategies for each section of the documents, and respond to factual scenarios. You’ll leave the workshop ready to hit the ground running this summer.
1. Writing the Legal Memo (Apr 9)
2. Writing the Appellate Brief (Apr 16)
Intended Audience: Law Schoo Students and other graduate school students interested in learning about genres common in legal practice.
