Are you applying for the NSF GRFP this fall? In this workshop, Associate Dean Robert Harper-Mangels, who advises NSF GRFP applicants and awardees within Yale GSAS, will give an overview of the application process, explain eligibility requirements, and answer your questions. In the second half, we will lead you through exercises to start mapping out your application essays.

Intended Audience: This information session is targeted towards first-year graduate students in STEM (including the social sciences). Note that only U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have completed less than one year of graduate school are eligible to apply. Second year graduate students and those who already have a graduate degree are ineligible.
