Applying for the NSF GRFP provides an opportunity to secure competitive funding and recognition, and, just as importantly, to hone grant writing skills that will benefit you for many years to come. In this virtual workshop, Associate Dean Robert Harper-Mangels from the Office of Graduate Fellowships will give an overview of the application process, explain eligibility requirements, and provide advice on how to write a competitive application. NSF GRFP awardee and Graduate Writing Lab Fellow Shoham Benmelech will also be there to answer your questions and explain opportunities for receiving writing support from the GWL. You will leave the session ready to start preparing your application materials this summer with plenty of time to hone them ahead of the fall GRFP deadline!

Intended Audience: This information session is targeted towards first-year graduate students in STEM (including the social sciences). Note that only U.S. citizens or residents are eligible for the NSF GRFP.
