Yale Tree Plantings for Staff Milestone Service Recognition

Yale staff members who are celebrating milestone anniversaries may choose to have trees planted in their honor in lieu of selecting a traditional gift. Trees are planted on Yale’s campus by the Urban Resources Initiative. Yale groundskeepers will water and nurture the trees. We plant in May and October each year and take a group photo at the plantings of all the honorees who are able to attend and their trees. Our next planting date is May 17 at 9 am at Sterling Library near the Women’s Table. Sign up to volunteer and/or attend.
