Biking at Yale is coordinating a special meet-up and ride together for Yale faculty and staff and their families at this year's Rock to Rock. Meet at the East Rock Playground in College Woods (41 Cold Spring St) at 10 am to prepare to go on the 5-mile ride with the group that will depart at 10:30 a.m. This ride is scheduled to return to East Rock Park by noon where there will be food trucks, live music, and a Green Fair. Wear a helmet and something blue. Bring water and sunscreen. Snacks will be provided. Please register through rocktorock.org.

Rock to Rock is New Haven's largest Earth Day celebration. This April 25, 2026, we hope you’ll bike or hike with us! There’s something for every age and skill level, from family-friendly a hikes at East Rock, to tons of biking options, ranging from 5 to 60 miles! View route details on our website, and then choose your adventure when you register! Early bird registration is open through March 25. ​

All options will help people explore local natural beauty, build community, have fun, and support environmental/climate projects. Rock to Rock offers a range of ride, walk & service opportunities to allow people to participate in a way that is enjoyable and exciting for them.

This event is a collaboration of 20 local organizations doing environmental work.
