A workshop for instructors who want to help students use maps and map-based storytelling in their coursework.
Over two sessions, we’ll demystify the process of creating interactive maps and equip participants with the tools and resources they need to teach basic map-making in the classroom.
Participants will create an interactive map-story of their own, working through the process from start to finish. By the end of the two-part workshop, they’ll have a working map-story of their own creation, as well as a better understanding of how to guide students through a similar project over the course of a semester.
