This 45 minute workshop, presented by the Yale Student Mental Health Association (formerly "Mind Matters"), explores the various mental health resources available to you as a Yale College student. It will also explore ways to approach taking action in one's mental health journey and how to support peers in their own through a variety of example situations and interactive group discussions.

A Belonging at Yale event
It's time for students to register to vote in federal and state elections! Join students from across the university for a delicious dessert buffet and register using Yale TurboVote. Registering is easy, taking just a few minutes, and other Yale students will be on hand to help!
All students, including those not eligible to vote, are welcome.

Join us Sunday 8/27 from 2:00-3:00pm for a fun plant activity where you'll get to plant your own plant cutting and pot it while we discuss sustainability efforts at Yale. After this session, you'll have a good understanding of Yale's sustainability vision and plan, how recycling and composting works at Yale, and sustainability resources to help reduce your impact on the environment while at Yale. We'll bring the snacks and supplies; all you need to do is let us know you're coming. Students are encouraged to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty during the planting session.

Opening Assembly on Cross Campus features addresses by Peter Salovey, President of Yale University, and Pericles Lewis, Dean of Yale College. All first-years are required to attend and be in their seats by 10:45 a.m. Proper attire should be worn. Guests of students are invited to attend. Seating for guests will be available via College Street will begin at 10:15 a.m. This event will be livestreamed and posted to Yale's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/yaleuniversity). Bags larger than 12x12, including all backpacks and luggage, will not be allowed. All other bags are subject to inspection.

An introduction to Yale's iconic central library, and an overview of 21st-century library services for undergraduates. The tour will begin inside the main entrance to Sterling Memorial Library; enter from Rose Walk, facing Cross Campus. Air Force ROTC Detachment 009 will be open from 0800-1500 to all current and incoming cadets and their families, and to anyone else interested in learning more about how to become an officer in the US Air Force or Space Force.
