Website Mission

Mission
We see a gap in school systems nationwide in the way that girls are taught about their bodies. By teaching young girls to appreciate their bodies for the power and strength of which they are capable rather than what they look like, we hope to create a foundation for a lifetime of positive body image, high self-esteem, healthy relationships, as well as a love of running.
We also hope that this organization will help break down some of the "bubble" between Yale and New Haven by promoting an extracurricular activity that goes beyond academics and partners with young girls in New Haven as positive female role models.
